Declan's Russian FlashCards is a program designed to give us the opportunity to learn the Russian language in a very easy and effective way.
From the program interface, we can start by clicking a word group (numbers, common verbs, months, and so on). The Review Words window will pop up showing a Russian word, its pronunciation (by a native speaker), and its meaning. After we have learned a word or phrase, we are let to drop it from the learning list. There are many types of exercises to practice our language skills such as matching words with meanings, spelling/typing, multi choice Russian, multi choice English, listening comprehension, and exercises to complete list. It is possible to evaluate this program free of charge for 15 days. The trial version provides about 50 words. Once we purchase the product, we can easily import over 3500 words and common phrases from the online Russian Audio Word File Archive. The online word files are organized by topics (days of the week, business, clothes, common phrases, etc.). Two useful shareware programs can complement Russian FlashCards: ReadWrite Russian, and Russian Dictionary.
